In an effort to reduce risks of exposure for both our customers and our staff during this nationwide health crisis, we at McDonald County Telephone and Internet are taking the following precautions:
We encourage all of our customers to utilize online bill payment at olemac.net/billing/, call-in bill payment at 417-223-4313, or use the drop boxes at our Anderson, Jane, or Pineville locations. We will be waiving any processing fees associated with these forms of payment through the end of May. Our staff is trained to clean all surfaces often and disinfecting their hands with every customer interaction.
McDonald County Telephone and Internet has 24/7 support available through an offsite help desk at 845-HELP(4357) or 226-HELP(4357). We request that any service related issues first go through this service so they can try to fix the trouble remotely. If the issue cannot be resolved through the help desk, one of our technicians will contact you as soon as possible, and troubleshoot with you remotely. For unresolved issues that may require a site visit, we will inquire if anyone at the location is experiencing symptoms or is at high risk of exposure before we agree to come to the location. Services will be checked to the outside of the house and technicians will do everything to minimize entering the facility for troubleshooting. Precautions will be made to disinfect before and after every interaction.
Staff members with compromised immune systems or those determined by the CDC to be at a greater risk, will be encouraged to work from home. All other staff will follow the CDC’s guidelines for social distancing.
At McDonald County Telephone and Internet we pride ourselves in our customer service and wish to maintain the high standards you have come to expect from us, while keeping the safety of you and our staff in mind. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
